Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These terms cover trash collection and related services provided by Southeast Aquatics Trash LLC ("Southeast Aquatics Trash LLC," "we," "us," or "our"). We've written them the way we'd want them written for us — readable, and without traps.

Agreeing to these terms

When you sign up for service, you agree to these terms. If you're signing up for a household, business, or community, you're agreeing on behalf of everyone who uses the service at that address.

What we provide

Southeast Aquatics Trash LLC provides weekly curbside trash collection to homes, businesses, and communities across Wake, Durham, Orange, Johnston, Franklin, and Harnett Counties in North Carolina.

• Weekly pickup — on your assigned service day
• A 96-gallon cart — included with your plan
• Curbside collection — you set the cart out and we empty it
• cart valet — optional, we set the cart out and return it for you
• Junk removal and cleanouts — quoted separately per job

Additional terms apply to cart valet: Read the cart valet Agreement →

We work hard to keep service days consistent. Routes can occasionally shift for weather, road conditions, holidays, or operational needs, and we'll let you know as early as we can.

Pricing and billing

Our published price is the price you pay. Fuel and standard service fees are already included — we do not add fuel surcharges or environmental recovery fees.

• Weekly service — starts at $50 per month for one cart
• Two carts — $99 per month, three carts — $149 per month
• Four or more carts — quoted individually
• cart valet — adds a flat $25 per month, any cart count
• A one-time $25 startup fee — covers cart delivery and account setup
• Quarterly and annual billing — offered at a reduced rate
• Billing is automatic — on your selected schedule
• Commercial, HOA, and junk removal — quoted individually

If a payment doesn't go through, nothing dramatic happens right away. We'll automatically run it again and reach out so you know something needs attention, and your service keeps running while we sort it out. If the balance still isn't settled after multiple attempts to reach you, your account is placed on suspension, weekly pickup stops, and we'll schedule a time to retrieve our cart from your property. Getting current at any point before that brings your service right back — we'd always rather send you a text than take a cart back.

Changing or ending your service

You are never locked into a long-term commitment. We'd rather earn your business every week than hold you to a multi-year agreement.

• Cancel at any time — no penalty and no exit fee
• Service runs through your billing period — you keep what you paid for
• Prepaid periods — not partially refunded, but service runs in full
• Carts remain our property — we'll collect ours after service ends
• To cancel or change service — call (919) 539-6572

Moving? If your new address is inside our service area, we'll move your service with you. If it isn't, service ends at the close of your current billing period.

What goes in the cart

Your cart is for normal household and business trash. Some items are unsafe for our crew, damaging to our equipment, or not accepted at the landfill.

Read the full Cart Rules →

If a cart contains prohibited items, our crew may not be able to empty it that day. Pull the item out and we'll get you on the next scheduled pickup.

Have something that doesn't belong in a cart — furniture, an appliance, renovation debris, a garage full of clutter? That's what our junk removal service is for, and unlike most haulers, you don't need to call a second company. See junk removal →

What we need from you

• Cart out the night before — our routes start very early
• Wheels against the curb — lid opening toward the street
• Clear access — keep it clear of cars, mailboxes, and low branches
• Lid closed — an overloaded cart may not be collected
• Bagged and tied trash — so nothing blows down the street
• Reasonable care of the cart — it stays with the property
• Current contact info — so we can reach you about schedule changes

Missed pickups and our guarantee

We take reliability seriously — it's the reason this company exists. If we miss your scheduled pickup, contact us and we'll make it right, typically the same or next business day.

Our guarantee doesn't apply where the pickup wasn't possible: the cart wasn't out the night before, access was blocked, the cart held prohibited items, or conditions like severe weather or road closures kept us off your street safely.

Liability

Southeast Aquatics Trash LLC treats your property with care. That said, a few practical limits apply:

• We aren't responsible for items placed in the cart and emptied during normal service
• We aren't liable for ordinary effects of curbside service, such as tire marks at the curb
• We aren't responsible for missed service caused by conditions outside our control
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the prior 30 days

cart valet carries additional property-access terms. Read the cart valet Agreement →
